Yes. Our digital signatures comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Amendment) Act, 2008. Aadhaar-based eSign is recognized as a legally valid form of electronic signature under Indian law, equivalent to a handwritten signature.
What is Aadhaar OTP verification?
Aadhaar OTP verification is a method where the signatory authenticates their identity through the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). A One-Time Password is sent to the Aadhaar-registered mobile number. This ensures the signatory's identity is verified before signing.
Is my data safe with Shronix eSign?
Absolutely. We use bank-grade encryption (TLS 1.3) for all data transmission, store documents in secure servers within India, and follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Aadhaar numbers are masked, and we never store full Aadhaar information.
Can I add multiple signatories to a single agreement?
Yes. Depending on your plan, you can add up to 10 signatories per agreement. Each signatory will receive their own signing link and can sign independently. The agreement is finalized only after all signatories complete the signing process.
What happens if a signatory does not have Aadhaar?
For signatories without Aadhaar, you can use WhatsApp OTP-based signing. This still provides legal validity through mobile number verification, video consent recording, and a complete audit trail.
